Lucia Blagden is an artist based in the United Kingdom. She graduated in 2014 with a degree in Fine Art from Aberystwyth University, specialising in drawing and painting. Her multidisciplinary practice encompasses ink and charcoal drawings, printmaking, mixed media, and three-dimensional forms.
Lucia’s work investigates the boundaries between inner and outer worlds, focusing on themes of perception, memory, and spatial experience. Recent projects include Personal Histories, which examines memory as a layered and transformative construct; Dreamscapes, exploring imagined spaces and the dream-like qualities of recollection; and Pictorial Space, which interrogates spatial perception and abstraction.
Light – both subject and metaphor – threads through all her work, creating a dialogue between materiality and concept, and inviting viewers to engage with what lies beyond the immediate and visible.
