Dreamscapes
Medium: Plaster and voile
Dreamscapes emerged from reflections on the hopes and imagined futures that shape our inner worlds. Inspired by L-J and Laurence’s plans for a life together, the work explores the multiplicity of realities concealed within thought – dreams that hover at the threshold of possibility. The cloud-like structures are light and playful, yet held together by strong, transparent bonds, suggesting both fragility and resilience.
Plaster offers weight and permanence, while voile introduces transparency and softness, echoing the tension between solidity and ephemerality. This interplay of materials mirrors the way aspirations and memories coexist – anchored yet mutable – within the architecture of human experience.
