About the work: Afternoon Light is part of a series of works inspired by a visit to Constantin Brancusi’s childhood home in Hobita, Romania. The house’s low ceilings and small windows created a warm and inviting space. The Summer light flooding through the open windows enveloped everything in chiaroscuro.
