About the work:
While visiting the Masca Valley in Tenerife I was struck by the dramatic shapes and complex textures that dominated the landscape. One moment we were by the sea and the next among the strong peaks of volcanic rock piercing through the clouds. Somehow the two experiences merged and I could almost see the choppy waves smashing into the rocks.
